Story of Making Time For Tea

Time for Tea is one of my favourite gift set and contains four 250 ml Cups, one 300 ml Jug and one Sugar Bowl. The inspiration for the collection has come from my love of drinking tea with friends in beautiful locations in Britain. Knowing the joy of this activity, I wanted to make a set that enabled you to recreate this experience at home by using beautifully handcrafted objects inspired by the landscape of the Southwest.

I adore drinking tea, whether it is Earl Grey, Lapsang Souchong, Assam or Lady Grey. One of my favourite cafés when I lived in Cardiff was the Waterloo Tea, in Waterloo Gardens. The practice of sitting down in a comfortable chair and setting out your cups, jug and sugar bowl so you can slowly relish making your tea in a beautiful cup while catching up with friends is much fun. I love that my tea cups have been appreciated over the last seven years, and I wanted to add to this experience.

Pouring milk from a handmade jug is a beautiful encounter. The tactile nature of my objects increases the sensory feeling of the activity. The landscape-inspired colours will draw you back to country walks you have all benefited from so you can reminisce or share your different encounters.

The small sugar bowls hold plenty of sugar for a group of four people, and with a matching colour to the rest of the set, this bowl will complete your tea time event.

Whether you have friends around for morning tea or you are creating the classic British practice of afternoon tea at 4 pm. This set will be a go-to collection that you can delight in for years. The objects' classic design and natural colours make the work timeless, and I hope you will enjoy using it for a lifetime. Buy Now.
