Three Week Hand-building Pottery Course
Over the three weeks, Ceramic Artist Karen Dawn Curtis will guide you step by step through the basic techniques of slab building. You will learn new skills building your confidence in the material, while having fun.
By the end of the three weeks, you will have made three clay objects. All the work will be glazed-fired and will be ready for collection within a month of the end of the course.
This workshop is suitable for beginners and those with some experience of clay. The price of the workshop includes all materials, tools and two firings along with the remaining pieces being glazed by Karen.
My workshops will look to create a relaxing environment where your imagination and creativity will be given space to thrive. Aprons will be provided but it is advised that participants wear clothes they are happy to get a little clay on.
1 pm - 3 pm or 7 pm - 9 pm
