Delivery and Returns

Items will Vary

Each of my items is unique, so the object you will receive will have a slight variation, either in colour, size or shape, from the product in the photograph, but it will carry the same high standard of craftsmanship and aesthetic.

Sustainable Packaging of Items

All my objects are wrapped in navy blue tissue paper and held in place with a Karen Dawn Curtis sticker. It will be encased in hive paper wrapping or paper bubble wrap and placed in a double-walled cardboard box padded with eco-space filler. I use kraft fragile tape to seal the boxes. Each package will have an artist information card, including care instructions, a business card and a ‘Thank you for your Order’ picture postcard. Each item arrives ready to be used.

UK Postage & Packing

The UK mainland (Northern Ireland & Channel Islands) standard rate is free with a minimum spend of £50. We use Royal Mail 48 Tracked service unless Royal Mail 24 tracked service is requested at checkout, with costs starting at £5. 

International Postage & Packing

All international parcels are sent with Royal Mail tracked and signed service. The Post Office states parcels will take 3-5 working days to Europe and 5-7 working days to arrive worldwide. Please note I no longer deliver to the USA due to the new tarriffs. You will be charged the relevant fees at check out. Delivery of Goods

We aim to dispatch orders within 3–5 working days of receiving payment. Please note that certain gift sets may have later dispatch dates; kindly refer to individual product pages for specific details.

Gift Wrapping

When selecting gift wrap, all cups, beakers and small jugs, including the gravy jug and 300 ml jug, will be wrapped in a box and then gift-wrapped in navy blue tissue paper which is finished with a ribbon and string and topped with a sprig of foliage.

All other items will be enfolded in paper bubble wrap, gift-wrapped in navy blue tissue paper, finished with a ribbon and string and topped with a sprig of foliage. 

Gift Message

If you would like to send your item as a gift with a personal message, please add the message to the other information at checkout. The gift message will be handwritten and placed in the box with the artist's information card.

Pre-Order Items

All pre-order items will have a window of 2-4 weeks when they will be available to order. These dates will be published on the website. Your order will be made and dispatched within two months of the pre-order closing date. 

Returns & Refunds

If you receive goods that are damaged or defective, please get in touch with us as soon as possible. You must then return the goods within 14 days for a replacement.

I accept returns of any non custom-made item. The buyer must contact me and return the item within 30 days of delivery. The buyer is responsible for the return postage, and the buyer is responsible for loss in value (as agreed upon with the seller) if an item isn't returned in its original condition.

Complaints

In the unlikely event of a complaint about any Karen Dawn Curtis product, in the first instance, contact us directly. We will do our best to resolve the problem.
